Through Bishop Scott’s sincere desire to develop an intimate relationship with the Lord, he learned servitude and how to humble himself before God and godly leadership. As a result of his obedience, God elevated him to pastor his own flock. Bishop Scott exercised tremendous faith when he gave birth to the vision God had given him to start Believers Temple Word Fellowship Church in February of 1993.
Through personal struggles and difficulties, Bishop Scott has developed a strong passion for deliverance from the power of Satan and demonic strongholds. His enormous faith in God enables him to work in the Kingdom of God with authority and favor.
Bishop Calvin Scott, founder of Fresh Start television ministry, is also an end-time prophetic voice God is using in these last days. His focus is helping people to deal with life’s woes through the power of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. He places a strong emphasis on the believer living a victorious lifestyle in every area of their life. A “fresh start” denotes a new beginning with a new attitude about life. The scripture teaches us, “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature, old things are passed away and behold all things become new.” (2 Cor.5:17)
Bishop Calvin Scott and the Believers Temple Ministry are seen each week by over 100,000 television viewers on MY46TV (St. Louis, MO) making an impact within the community and worldwide. Bishop Scott is the first born son to Ms. Dollie Scott. He and his wife, Prophetess Deborah Scott, were married on August 18, 1979. They have 3 children LeAndra, Sharita, and Ann. They also have six grandchildren, one son in law, Ray Green.
