After receiving Christ at the young age of 20, Prophetess Deborah Scott determined in her heart that she would live a life pleasing to her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. In 1979 she married her high school sweetheart and after serving in other ministries the Lord blessed them to start Believers Temple Word Fellowship in 1993. Through the years she has faithfully supported her husband, Bishop Calvin Scott, in the role of First Lady.
Prophetess Scott has been commissioned by God to teach and preach the unadulterated Gospel of Christ in order to set the captives free and bring deliverance and healing to God’s people. Her passion includes ministering to the needs of women at large. She currently serves as the director of the Virtuous Women of Great Faith Ministry at Believers Temple Word Fellowship. This ministry oversees the various women’s sub-groups at Believers Temple. Prophetess Scott, along with her husband, also teach a monthly marriage class which educates couples on how to have prosperous and healthy relationships. She currently holds credentials in teaching, counseling and a Bachelor of Theology degree from The Army of The Lord Remnant Academy in St. Louis, Missouri. In November of 2007 Prophetess Scott received her Master of Religious Arts from Tabernacle Bible College and Seminary in Tampa, Florida.
Prophetess Deborah Scott and Bishop Calvin Scott have three daughters and six grandchildren.
